Reverting back to the Feather today due to receiving new Proline blades from the very generous @culcreuch .
I had a wonderful 1 pass shave without any irritation or cuts.
My muscle memory has definitely improved but I did not have the confidence for a second pass so relied upon the awesome R41.
A gentle 2 pass shave left me BBS.

Brush performed its face lathering magic by the beautifully scented and very efficient Caties Bubbles.

Finished with my newly acquired Floid After Shave Balm. I am really impressed with this stuff. Great product and thank you Iain for sourcing it for me. :)
A generous splash of Amen* was then applied.

Feeling great and ready to take on any ghosts and spooky creatures this evening. :cool:

After a spell on Injectors and modern SE / AC Razors, thought a return to Vintage SE was in order.With a fresh blade the obvious choice for me was a "Streamline" which works well with a new Blade and is one of my favourite SE Razors.

I find it a very easy Razor to use, as the weight is good and allows you to avoid any pressure during a Shave. Get the angle right and it Shaves very smoothly but efficiently.Today was really good and my concentration on getting the Shave right,was rewarded by a top notch Shave. The quality of finish is as good as many AC/ SE Razor Shaves, and better than some. A real face stroker , especially as the MWF leaves the skin feeling soft and refreshed. Can a modern Gem Razor be better than this? Will have to wait and see but in no hurry to buy one.

Treet blades seem to lose sharpness rather quickly.
The cream is totally different than the usual stuff we use. You can apply it directly from the tin without a brush. I tried bowl lathering and came up with nothing. It doesn't create a rich lather but it'a very slick and provides good protection. The scent is similiar to the aftershave but very mild.
The aftershave is stunning and it's one of my favorite aftershaves. No balm needed as it leaves the skin very gentle and moist.
I guess it's beacuse of witch hazel that it contains.

Really enjoyed today's shave, completely BBS, my new acquisition of B&M Le Grande Chypre preformed exceptionally as expected, a bucket full of slickness and a wonderful post shave feel, the scent is certainly an enjoyable one to my nose @Jel999 il be trying the Monaco Royale in the next couple of days and will be sure to tag you as requested

I decided to see OCtober out with the same razor I belatedly saw it in with, the aluminium Leresche.
Nice smooth two pass shave, aided magnificently by the wonderful Fine Platinum. The Dove PSB is average, it takes a while to absorb and leaves the skin feeling ok, for economy and performance the Boots Freshwood leaves this in its wake imo.
I think I'm meant to sign off with Wooooooh or BOO!!! but can't remember why, maybe I'm bewitched or something.
