Thanks Johnny. I used the No 89 shaving cream last night and rated the scent.
I'll be buying a couple of samples from their site later.
Any other ones you would recommend apart from No 89.

No. 89 is one of my favourites, Rob. Guerlain's Habit Rouge is a cracker too. The EdT can be easily found. The EdP (which is deeper and longer lasting, for me) can be obtained from Allbeauty.
Floris Elite's a good one too.. woody.
Heritage was the first Guerlain I bought and I still use it. It's a great all rounder, imo. Hope you like itThanks Stephen for the recommendations.
I do have a sample of Habit Rouge. I liked it but it goes quite sweet on me during the dry down. It does pass but I'm 100% sure about it.
I bought a bottle of Guerlain Heritage on Friday, so that should be with me in the next couple of days. I've never tried it, which I know is a big no-no but it kept cropping up when I asked this question, so I thought what the hell.
Cheers
Rob

i have guerlain heritage and its absolutely fantastic, im sure youll like it
Brilliant stuff. I wear mine at Christmas. Don't know why, but it's sort of become a tradition over the last 10 years or so.
Good shout that. Masculine rose scents have always been a staple in Vinny's collection.Wayne suggested my top tip ... Sartorial. Reasonable longevity, not such over projection as to be ' in your face ' and you'll certainly get a few compliments. Other than that, I can't suggest anything better than Floris No 89 for understated elegance, anything approved of by Ian Lancaster Fleming and still a top favourite 60 years on just has to have a lot going for it. Enjoy the day whatever you decide on.

Hi Rob. You already own some crackers I see. A couple I have bought recently and am mightily impressed considering that on Allbeauty one is under £20 and the other under £25 respectively are Versace The Dreamer and Mont Blanc Individual. Both really classy and have great longevity. Well worth checking them out as they are lovely and great for compliments.
I like 127 too. It was my first Floris and is still going strong. History advises us that, allegedly, Winston Churchill and Eva Peron were devotees.Good shout that. Masculine rose scents have always been a staple in Vinny's collection.
Personally, I'd pick Special 127 though, just because it's a bit unusual and slightly unloved.
Elite would be right up there too.
