S.O.T.D. Saturday 3rd June to Friday 9th June 2017

Prep: Hot shower Nivea face scrub and face wash
Razor: SE1 with Kronos handle
Razor blade: Proline (lost count)
Brush: Elite Manchurian
Bowl: Little Wren Pottery
Soap: Stirling coniferous (sample)
Post: Thayers witch hazel and Fine American Blend

Second use if the SE1 on loan from @Acer89. I tried changed the handle from the Atlas to Kronos but prefer the Atlas. Also changed the blade from a Feather Pro to a Proline. I've forgotten how many times I've used the blade but it must be up to double figures. It still performed brilliantly, very smooth and sharp.

I had five days growth, so plenty for the SE1 to deal with and deal with it, it did. I even had a couple of hairs ping off, which I wasn't a fan of TBH. I'm sure this was down to the length of my stubble.
I love the shave this razor gives and the end results are impressive.

The MASSIVE soap sample was kindly sent to me by @patw , thank you. You are a gent.
The soap performed well and the scent strength is very good. If you love sniffing conifers, you love this soap.

Have a restful and peaceful day......Stay strong and stay together. X

Could this be the razor you've been seeking out, if I could only have one razor it would be the SE1.

Thanks for the tag Rob :)

Mastro Livi RWL34: a Stellar Fabulous Edge!

The more I use a Mastro Livi RWL34 razor, the more I know how great are the straight razor made with this fabulous stainless steel. They simply take an incredible edge that, coupled with the superior Mastro Livi's craftsmanship in creating extra full hollow blades by hand and by using his wheel grinders only, give a super smooth and close shave. I am so happy I took this Mastro Livi RWL34 with me for this month's trip and it is giving me the very best shaves. As for the rest of the today's shave setup, I used an Omega bristle brush which easily mounted a rich lather from Cella shaving soap, ended with the very cool and refreshing touch of the magnificent Floïd Blue aftershave. A perfect Mastro Livi RWL34 shave!

How do you find the ATT SE1 compared the the general?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It's more efficient by some margin. After 3 passes and a couple of touch ups I end up with a very close shave. Probably the best shaves I've had since I changed from cartridge razors.
The ATT S2 and Fatip piccolo are still up there but the SE1 has surpassed them both.
I do have a SE2 on its way on loan, so we'll see how that fares.
It's early days but I'm pretty confident I'll end up buying one.

With The General (both versions) I need four passes and a number of touch ups to get a close shave. I really enjoy The General, you can really throw it around your face and perform a very quick shave.

Proraso Green Preshave
C&E Nomad soap
Semogue 1250 Brush
Gem Junior With Gem PTFE blade (#4)
Alum Block
Unrefined Shea Butter
Pashana Original Aftershave

An evening shave after a long day at work. I can scarcely believe how good the shaves are. I seem to
spend a lot of time rubbing my face. Now I want to know how many shaves I will get from the blades.
