do you use a moisturiser

Most cheap moisturisers do the job, but if you want to treat yourself, or submit a birthday/Christmas suggestion, here's what you need...

Kiehls Facial Fuel

I picked up a large tub of argan moisturiser today from tk Maxx. This was inspired by a few threads on this forum

I use Bulldog sensitive moisturiser as an aftershave balm and find it wonderful. Occasionally I'll use a bit of it on non-shave days also. It's the only one I've found that doesn't leave my face sticky and shiny.

Like Wazza, I'm a Bulldog fan. Natural products, non animal tested, reasonable price, made in Britain and exported worldwide, what's not to like. ( apart from the shaving cream which is, for me, absolute pants ).

Hey JohnnyO, isn't the Bluudog a shave gel and not a shave cream? Well, it is here in Australia. But agree. Can only be used as an emergency and with a cartridge

I have started to notice my skin being dry after a shave. I may be due to winter weather. I don't think it is any worse then when I used a cartridge razor but I am starting to pay more attention to my skin condition since using a DE razor.

When working outside I do use a lip balm for drying lips. If my lips are drying out it make's sence the test of my face is also. Just your lip skin in thinner and more sensitive so you notice that first.

Can anyone recommend a good moisturiser
I would recommend trying a couple and see which ones you get on with. There's the lower cost end with Bulldog and the higher end with Clinique and Lab Series. Fundamentally they all do on or about the same thing so I think it's a personal choice and what works best for you and your face.

I once tried Ultraceuticals, but caused me a massive red face rash!

I've been using Argan Oil the last few days and it's been fantastic. I'd like to say I've had an immediate effect, though that may be a placebo. Although it's not technically 'moisturising', it stops my skin feeling oily post-use but it doesn't feel dry as such. I'm going to continue using it and report back down the line.

I use it in my hair and I've noticed a big difference.
