Shaving recipe for today.


Pre: warm shower:/Cien (Sport) Shower Gel & Shampoo / warm wet flannel to my face.


Bloom water face wash


Razor: 1972 Aluminium Gillette Tech.


Blade:Sputnik (new).


Brush: Chinese unbranded horse hair.


Soap: Grated Palmolive Shave sticks + 4 drops of Glycerine in the ceramic soap bowl .


Warm wet flannel/ cold wet flannel to rinse my face.


Post:Lavender oil & Witch Hazel mixture./Morrisons Enrich Intensive Moisture Lotion.


A/S :Brut Attraction Totale .

A new shave set up to start the weekend, first time use of the Sputnik blade & and another, 1 of 2 Chinese Unbranded horse hair brushes, kindly given to me from one of my mates..the blade i have to say is excellent, really sharp, but smooth it was a wonderful match for my Gillette Tech giving me a effortless 3 pass silky smooth shave with no errors to report, the brush,..well it was ok, i had to to re-load and clean out the soap bowl due to endless hairs falling out of the brush,but once it was loaded up again with the palmolive soap it was ok..you only get what you pay for, i can't complain though, the brush delivered in the end..finishing the shave off with a generous spalsh of Brut Attraction Totale another one of my favourite aftershaves. I'm ready for the weekend.Enjoy your day, gentlemen. :cool:

The Nurite seemed much sharper this time, though I still managed to cut myself, due to not pulling the skin tight enough on my sloppy choppies, doe, the blade skipping slightly,
That seems to happen more on the 5/8's than my other, straights,
Still mustn't grumble.
