Gillette Tech 2 (first time used)
Gillette silver blue blade (1)
Erasmic supreme bristle brush.
The Real shaving co: traditional shaving cream+ 4 drops of glycerin added to shaving bowl.(stainless steel)
Witch Hazel.
A/S Floid:Mentolado Suave (Amber)
The Real Shaving co: Post Shave Soothing Balm.
The Gillette Tech 2 + Gillette Silver Blue blade gave me a wonderful no irritation, smooth Baby face shave.

SOTD July 9, 2016
Second full shave with my Dovo and all went well. No nick, cuts or abrasions. In two shaves I have learned a couple of things. Good prep is an absolute necessity. Second, I felt a bit more confident this morning so I used longer blade strokes. I found with my shavette I was a bit more tentative with my strokes because I knew it had a terrible bite if it didn't like what I was doing. Even yesterday, I found my strokes were somewhat more tentative. Today, in the open areas -- neck, cheeks -- I used longer strokes and it made a difference. My sink/counter set up is getting better as well. Great experience.
Pre: Proraso preshave
Razor: Dovo 6/8 Best Quality
Brush: Parker Badger
Soap: MWF
Post: Witch Hazel / Clinique Post Shave Soother

So here goes.
Pre shave post hot shower with Myrsol Emulsion
Then TOBS mr Taylor cream (sample from Shavedash)
Steve Woodhead medium scuttle heated for some real luxury
Rockwell 6s with 1and 2 head loaded with a Rapira SS blade
Proraso burn relief balm followed by 2 coats of Myrsol Emulsion
What a lovely shave, started with the Rockwell 1 baseplate but soon progressed to number 2 baseplate. Love the sent of Mr Taylors!!
Have my nine year old son next to me who shaved with me (without a blade of course) using his own butterfly DE razor and his very own kent travel brush. I know its early but why not. He has developed a real knack of producing lather...

A most pleasurable shave this morning with my PAL Adjustable razor. This is a very aggressive razor but when used correctly provides flawlessly smooth shaves. My buddy Mike makes a wonderful homemade shave soap which provides plentiful rich, creamy, slick lather. Three passes for a dolphin smooth finish. Enjoy your weekend friends.
