Summer is almost here - show off your sunglasses

Worn RayBans since I was in my 20's and still wear them. These are mine ........

Picked up a second pair of Persols as I was truly impressed by the quality of both frames and lenses in the first pair I got.
Got a very different model this time though (see first model in the opening post).

There's a company in Germany that sells genuine ones for 50% off as they sometimes don't come with case or the cloth. They are however sourcing directly from Persol.
 
All this talk about sunglasses has made me go into the opticians this morning and get measured for a pair of ( new model ) ray ban wayfarers fitted with prescription vari focal Nikon Polaroid lenses.....looking forward to getting them, sadly my wallet is not ....
 
The sun is coming so got mine out for a good sort out

Treated my self to some raybans.

Got a pair of Oakley 5 squared smoke grey and persol 3040-s polarised to go on eBay/BST shortly

what ever oakley squared you have please pm me picks and prices, all usa oakleys i collect, they all go in a display case. And as of 2014 they were no longer made in usa they are made by loxita, same as rayban and tesco. So i collect em. Colin

After one of my Persols being stolen a few weeks ago I replaced them with not one..but two (for a combined cost of less than the pair I lost).

One pair of 3043's (same as I lost but different color);

Pair of Faux tortoiseshell Rayban Wayfarer original sunglasses fitted with my prescription lenses. Have to get reasonably robust frames because of the thickness of the lenses my failing eyes require.
