slickest U.K available soap

Ok so I over watered the soap and produced a voluminous lather, slickness was there but no body to it. When I palm lathered it just fizzled out. Next a dryer brush and loaded it well for a minute. This produced a dry lather and by adding water a few drops at a time I made a slick lather with decent body but it took an age. Too long to be faffing around like that. I have to find the middle point methinks. Thanks for the tips lads. I don't have the same bother with MWF, Sap Vero, and Wickhams. I'll get there

I work my lather for around 10mins razor across face takes about a minute for two passes (DE razor). Prep really is key
10 minutes, wowzers thats a long time. Is that bowl or face lathering?
I take a about a minute maybe two if I count loading the brush.
Am I lazy :)

Funny how everyone percieves things differently, but I don't rate OSP and MWF as being particularly slick. I rate OSP as a good soap but couldn't get on at all with mwf, neither were as slick as Wickhams.

I have a few US Artisan soaps and they are way slicker than OSP and MWF, so maybe I have been a bit spoilt??? LOL.

From what I have read P&B sounds very promising, so will look forward to a P&B vs Wickhams "soap off " later in the year!!!! :)

MWF and unscented Kiss my Face is my go to super slick combo. KmF adds density and slickness to the lather, the MWF gives it body and scent.

The secret to a slick lather is adding enough water. I'd say 75% of slickness comes from the water, and 25% comes from your soap/cream choice.

One more vote to MWF/Kent soap. IMHO is the best english soap in terms of slickness/protection... when it works and you can build a decent lather of course! I find it far better than GFT, Truefitt and Floris soaps, although DR Harris produce some decent ones as well.

Cheers!

Palmolive is an awesone cream to uberlather imo. Glycerine helps prevent airy lather so you may or may not end up with a slicker lather.
