Your Top 3 DE Blades ?

Over the last year or two I've been gravitating towards just using Techs for most of my shaves, maybe 60-70% of all shaves?

Techs seem to work with most blades, sometimes I will come across a blade that's too sharp to begin with (eg Personna PDG) or a blade that's not sharp enough (eg Supermax Blue Diamond Platinum) and I'll have a bit of post shave irritation or not the closest shave. Aside from that I've come to appreciate most good blades will perform really well in a Tech.

So it might sound like a really boring statement, but I have no favourite blades anymore.
Im an adjustable guy but i can agree that there may be no better safety razor than the well copied Tech.

Sneaky CCP bastard, I thought they were made in Japan :poop:

Thanks for the link below.
China are an industrious bunch and a Gillette made in Japan now that would be a thing, Feather and Kai are great blades albeit Feathers burn me up a bit. I dont know why they put the Japan flag unless they are trying to do exactly that , hang on Feathers reputation.

A blade's a blade, they all shave.

Irritation is imaginary.

I speak the truth.

Japan should sue China for allowing to use their flag on Gillette Chinese made blades instead of their own Chinese flag.

@Bish could you please post in image saying made in China from the Gillette Super Thin with the Japanese flag, I can't find an image profile online.

There are two versions of this blade. One sold in Vietnam, one sold in Thailand. Both are made in China. When you mention "GST: China", I assume you are referring to the Razor Blades Club site? The one they have listed as China is for Vietnam. The difference in appearance is due to promotional packaging (chance to win gold).

I prefer the Vietnamese Platinum.

Vietnamese - Gillette Super Thin Platinum:

(this version of the packaging notes the blades are made using Japanese steel)

Thai - Gillette Super Thin:

Discontinued - Gillette Super Thin (Non-Platinum), Vietnam:

Don't know if there was ever a Pliatnum version for Thailand
