I had said this as well. Grace of Yaqi had told me when enquiring about the softest fibers that the tuxedo and the white cashmere that they sell on aliexpress were the same. and that the black fiber on the aliexpress store is the softest. Now softest fibers covers the whole length of the fiber and not just the tips. From my experience the new galaxy tuxedo they do feels better as its more dense and the tips are just as soft. The bonus is that the galaxy handle tuxedos have near to no glue bump.
Yea the blue space brush with the Tuxedo knot. The knots that are sold on the Yaqi Alibaba site are wholesale with a minimum order of about 500 brushes. The Yaqi brushes on the aliepress tend to have the same knots. So yes they do have different fibers in some knots but they are not easy to come buy at the momentOK. It's just that a member of a French forum got a brush with the recent light brown knot (not sold yet on Yaqi boutique apparently) and he asserted that the fibre was different than the others.

What do you mean by the galaxy Tuxedo? (is it the blue space brush?)

The new Yaqi's look good, in particular the top two and the one in the middle which I presume are synths - the colour of the knots looks very aesthetically pleasing. The urge to purchase more Yaqi brushes seems strong, even though I absolutely no need for any more!
Oh Yaqi so typical just when I was expecting synth knots to take the next step towards maturity ie no more fake badger look
What would your ideal synth knot look like?
A black knot would match all my handles, any material, any colour, any pattern, hopefully...
