I use the Bone Conductors for running and the technology definitely works , I am on a second pair as the ones I had were a few years old. I have the Openrun Pros , in a situation where you don't need the awareness of the noise around you I would say conventional is better , but in a situation where you do then the Shokz are great. After almost 2 years of good use, my cheap wireless headphones have met their maker.
Curious whether anyone has experience of Bone Conduction Headphones? Such as Shokz........The technology seems dead clever, just not sure on the quality. I use headphones for walking and an occasional run. They need to be waterproof, and I have realised I don't really get on with the ear bud types.
I'm intrigued by the technology, and quite prefer not to be completely cut off from the world when out and about. Going to look into Shokz. Many thanks.I use the Bone Conductors for running and the technology definitely works , I am on a second pair as the ones I had were a few years old. I've just ordered a pair of Aftershokz from Ebay. Refurbished and less than half the price. Wanted to check the conduction tech without breaking the bank. Looking forward to trying them.I never even knew this bone conduction was a thing until I read this. Sounds like a good idea if it prevents feeling cut off from your surroundings.
I think generally, unless you're on your sofa with a pair of closed back headphones, any situation where you're out and about calls for situational awareness, if only to make it less likely you'll get run over or mugged. I got some Buds free when I bought my Sadsmug S21 but I rarely use them and they would defo fall out of my ears if I tried to run with them. They sound alright when they're correctly positioned, but even with the phone in my pocket they drop the link sometimes. Kind of glad they were a freebie on a phone I was gonna buy anyway.
I have these too and don’t fit my ears eitherSorry that should have said I have the Sony wf-1000xm3. Just great sound but my ears are a funny shape and so bought some to AirPods Pro instead. Sound is far better on the Sony’s though and the noise cancellation is great.
The sounds great and the comply tips help but decided it just wasn’t worth the hassle in the end and went with the airpod pros.I have these too and don’t fit my ears either
It was disappointing because I spent a long time researching and the Sony beats all others hands downThe sounds great and the comply tips help but decided it just wasn’t worth the hassle in the end and went with the airpod pros.
