Which Gillette Platinum?

Yep Mike you did. I’ve been thinking about having a good rifle through my blades and picking out the ones I haven’t tried yet and the ones I’d like to try now I’ve been shaving for a while. I tried a lot in the early days that people were kind enough to send me but I’m sure if I were to use them again now I’d get a totally different response from them. London Bridge is top of this list. The Winner blades too

Mine were Pakistan or that’s what Razor club told me at that time

As far as I know, there are no Gillette Winner blades manufactured in Pakistan. They are manufactured by Gillette India.

Yeah agreed but i think they were marketed for Pakistan at that time but who knows

As far as I know, there are no Gillette Winner blades manufactured in Pakistan. They are manufactured by Gillette India.

Indeed, Gillette ceased manufacture of DE blades in 1999 (and recently pulled out of Pakistan altogether). Gillette Winner Platinum are made by Gillette India, Gillette Winner Stainless by Vertice.

Though I wonder if the white box stainless by Vertice may have been discontinued, as the black box made by Gillette India are now just "stainless steel", no longer "Platinum"

Indeed, Gillette ceased manufacture of DE blades in 1999 (and recently pulled out of Pakistan altogether).

I remember the discussion where we talked about it. If I recall correctly, they stopped producing blades and closed the factory in Pakistan in 2000 or 2001.
