I use it with my trusted blade, the feather and polsilver which in other razors I get great results.I like the Progress and it gives me a good shave with a variety of blades. Rough and raw suggests a blade problem. However I note the Parker Variant seems to be getting good reviews.
Whether you use progressive settings, regressive settings or a fixed setting is a matter of subjective views. There is no correct answer. I use a fixed setting.
The Fatip is the magical two days growth implement, smooth like a New and aggressive like a Futur on 4.I'm fortunate enough to own a FatBoy, a Slim Adjustable, and a Merkur Digress. To be honest, if they were all stuffed in a drawer, and as long as I could access my FaTip Piccolo, I wouldn't miss them one little bit...
That isn't a cart.I'm not into carts anymore, but thank you.
I have the grande and I find it a bit on the aggressive side for me. Maybe I should have bought the piccolo instead, but as far as no adjustable DE's are concerned, I'm pretty well covered.
Piccolo has the same head as Grande, the difference is in the handle only.I have the grande and I find it a bit on the aggressive side for me. Maybe I should have bought the piccolo instead, but as far as no adjustable DE's are concerned, I'm pretty well covered.
