Dipesh, I think you can get it direct from Muhle, as they are in the EU you would pay no further import duties.

That's not the exact model you listed, but with a barley chromed handle. I have bought from Muhle in the past and they are very good to deal with - quick service and very fast response to email queries.

It's also available from Connaught Shaving, who I don't believe really need any further recommendation cos you will probably have heard enough already re: service etc:icon_razz:

Its also a diffrent head as well if you look at the teeth you will see the diffrance

Frankly I didn't like it so I sold mine, I think Blyth has one so you can also ask him.

I don't mind aggressive razors but when they are that heavy I just found you needed to be ultra cautious, too cautious to be pleasant. Maybe I'm just too used to NEW's but the trouble I find when faced with a such a curved head on an OC is that you get no cue or feel for where the blade edge actually is, much like the the new Muhle R41 it leaves the edge out there, unlike the #77 say where you can use the comb as your guide.

Is the old Fatip still doing the rounds? I'd see if you can get a loaner.

It's appeared on my radar!

What do they shave like Tony?

Dipesh

I had one, it came under the soubriquet of a Shaving Shack own brand but that's what it was the pre 2009/10 Muhle R41.

Used it once and literally binned it. Nearly tore me to shreds and I love OC razors. I wouldn't even PIF it.

Dreadful, er, IMHO.

I got one on it's way now. Still, if it turns out to be rubbish, it has a nice handle!

Thanks for the comments guys
