R rmf Messages 3 Wednesday August 29, 2012 #1 I'm relatively new to proper shaving, but my morning routine is to shave, moisturise, cycle to work, shower. I figure it makes sense to moisturise straight after shaving, but wonder if I might be better off waiting till after I've showered at work? Does moisturising before the bike ride protect me a bit? Does showering undo all my good work? I currently use Nivea post shave balm. Anybody got any views?

Ideally I would, but practicalities dictate that I shave at home, shower at work :icon_sad: I like to travel light on the bike and would prefer not to have to transport shaving gear to and from work.
