My latest member of the family.

Looks in almost as new condition, very pleased :D

On the box it says Gillette N24 Set, its a three piece razor with no date code.
The back of the head says Gillette made in England.
in the box is a Gillette blue blade.
Weight is 62 gram / 2 1/4 ounce.
Handle is 75mm long and 10mm diameter.

Ball end tech

Many thanks, any idea of date?

Check the date on the blade, but I'd say mid 50s, like this one here:

Great
I have B2 on the blade so its a 1956 2nd quarter?

Just had a wizz with it loaded with a Feather, a very nice gentle shave, I noticed that the handle like to be quite upright when in use.

btw, paid £9.09 which I thought was very good for as new condition.

Well, most likely, and that's as close as you'll get to dating it, razor could be made earlier, or the blades could have sat in a warehouse for a couple of months before being added to the finished razor (box + blades). So in theory it could be a B1 razor, matched with B2 blade at packaging, or a B3 razor, packaged with a B2 blade. But with the turnover of blades and razors Gillette had around those years, I'd say this is unlikely.

But yes, the year is good, and the quarter very likely, I'd say :p

9 quid is good, nice find!
