The only SS razor that is keeping me up at night is the One Blade 2.0. I think it's because it would prove once and for all that I am off my nut if I spend £300 on a razor!@stevebowles I'm shocked there is no one who supports the new SS razors more than I.
You have made a very good point JohnnyO. Gordon Ramsey has made a damn sight more selling pimped up burgers and chops that are gone in 5 mins or a bottle of Chateau du sweaty feet pee'd up the wall than Stan at ATT ever will make or selling quality SS razors that will last three lifetimes of good service.
I've known a few fellows like bezoar over my time on the forums. Most don't intend to act in a troll-like manner. I suspect they are functional autistics or suffer from asberger sysndrome.
I can understand why Bezoar rubbed a few people the wrong way, but I always found him spectacularly easy to ignore so he never got under my skin at all where some members seemed ready to lynch him some days.
As to the Aspergers, though ...... I'm an Aspie ..... And, being a spectrum disorder, there are all manner of variations upon the theme from one end of that spectrum to the other. Like most functional Aspies, I can be prone to the odd lapse of concentration and do the Aspie 'thing' and just say what it is I'm thinking without applying any of the learned social filters I've had to conciously develop over my lifetime. That can be awkward ..... I don't mean to do it and mean nothing by it other than exactly what I say; it's just that it can sound harsh and abrasive without the social cushioning that neurotypical people apply to every social interaction by developed social skills. As people may imagine, I have to think very fast on my feet in conversations and a night out on the piss is like doing a twelve hour shift unloading fecking wagons; it can be bloody exhausting.
Sitting at a desk and typing at a forum on screen, though ......... That's easy; It's not talking back at me, for one thing. I have all the mental space and time to craft a reasoned response and consider the impact of my words as I'm typing them.
So....... I'm not saying that Bezoar either is, or isn't, 'on the spectrum' as it were ........ Just making the point that having Aspergers, or High Functioning Autism, doesn't necessarily mean you don't know the impact words have in the functional context of a conversation. As I've pointed out, It's actually easier to type this than have a conversation about it; I could be just as articulate about it ....... but it just bloody tires me out a lot more
