What Watch Are You Wearing Today?

Picked up one of these... Decided to try the most basic/popular design from Steinhart for purposes of resale ease, so a ceramic bezel Submariner homage in 39mm.

Very impressed with the quality, the fit and finish is equal to far more expensive watches I've had (it's on par with Tudor, no exaggeration) not bad for £250 secondhand. Only criticisms I have are the cyclops doesn't magnify as strongly as a Rolex and the bracelet clasp is the old school double locking type which feels outdated to me in 2024.

Homages aren't for everyone, in fact they really rub some the wrong way but if you want a classic style for pennies and don't want to skimp on quality I can highly recommend these

In a big Steinhart fan, for all the the reasons you mentioned

I don't generally like homage watches, but I think Steinhart add enough of their own design to make the watch individual

Mine has a totally different case shape to the Rolex that inspired it and is a different size

The GMT movement works differently too
