I think the OSP Sandalwood soap is in the middle regarding scent strength. It's not as bold as say a Stirling soap:

Salter Sandalwood smells like a stronger, cologney version of my favourite sandalwood scent; The Body Shop old formula shaving cream. I'd be very happy if I could find that scent in a tallow soap.If Cyril Salter Indian Sandalwood cream is anything like their French Vetiver cream, then it will blow your socks off.
I love French Vetiver - it's earthy, smoky and intense. The performance is right on the money too.
Disclaimer - I've not even sniffed their Sandalwood so I can't comment on the scent.
I Would suggest OSP sandlewood, it's just plain sandlewood but really nice, definitely earthy you won't find anything floral about it at all.
Art of Shaving is my favourite too.
I'm going to have to get some AOS too...
Can anybody recommend a good place to get AOS please?
Yes, I know what you mean nowOSP Sandlewood, Nuff said!
Just seen post 10 sorry, it's a shame you don't it, like James only uses real indan Sandlewood and is totally natral. I love it . I wish you luck on your quest.

How is the Sandalwood hunt going? Glad you like OSP - we usually have a good stock & matching tonics. Have you tried Faena before? The soaps are a great quality & lather well!

Good luck with finding a Sandalwood you like!
