What made your day a good one

What are we seeing in shots 1 and 2 Chris a side alley?

Got this thing through the MOT after a severe talking to!

It is indeed a side alley. One which joins on to a section of the old Southport to Liverpool cobbled Road which we are in the process of cleaning at the moment. No photos as yet but my wife and mother took it in to their heads to clean the actual side alley.

And did a damn fine job while at it. Revealing some nice Yorkshire stones including a gutter at the same time. When you consider the original state, then well done Mrs Satanfriendly and mother-in Satanfriendly-law

It is just a shame with no funding these kind of things are left to the residents. The cobbled Road is a challenge but we should be finished later this year

What made my weekend a good one? An eight hour round-trip to Cumbria to meet and collect the newest member of the clan. Meet the retired racing greyhound formerly known as Dark Tower, now going by the name of Angus (yep - I got away with naming him after one of my musical heroes :devilish::giggle:)
For a dog that's come straight from kennels to a home environment having never done basic stuff like used stairs or been around the noise of a busy house he's adjusted amazingly. And I couldn't have asked for more with relation to his temperament with the kids. Although our rabbits' shed and enclosure have been moved to another part of the garden and been fenced in more securely:oops:

He looks like a "Larry" to me.

What a beautiful addition to the family. Did you go to a specialist Greyhound Rescue charity? We have been considering a greyhound...wonderful temperaments!

@Glen_Lee we used the Greyhound Trust. Sod's law my wife fell in love with one three and a half hours away rather than a few miles away in Shropshire:rolleyes:
Little bit of separation anxiety and horrendous farts. And Angus has the same issues :p:ROFLMAO:
