What a way to begin the day and end the week: I received a message this morning that an old school chum of mine had just died. That's the sixth in less than six months. I seem to have reached that point in life where the funerals far outweigh the weddings.

Yet more bloody cold sores appearing over night.
I've always suffered with them when I have a cold, and funnily sunny weather can bring them on too.

That's me not shaving for another few days
