For goodness sake! Some utter cockwomble wiped out my bike and my wife's car last night. Both parked outside our house. Bike is probably a write off and car pretty banged up. Not impressed.
Might end up War & Peace but it needs some background:
About 6 months ago MrsB and her friend had been going on paranormal ghost hunt things run but two married blokes (married to each other). Basically you pay £40 each and they take a group of about 15 around a supposed haunted location and try and contact spirits. All a load a horse crap but MrsB believed it and it was perking her up what with her current condition and all.
After her and her mate had been to a couple events these blokes asked them to come on board at "team members" helping promote and helping out at events. All unpaid as they are trying to grow the business but they'd get to go to these events for free so seemed a decent trade off.
Anyway, a week ago things went sour when one of these blokes sent the girls a very snotty email saying they were suspended until they complied to improve the quality of their work. As they were "working" at least 2 hrs every day promoting the events online they decided to just tell them to shove it.
The paranormal groups on FaceBook they were promoting the events on got wind and people started coming out of the woodwork telling tales of how these guys have ripped them off financial and destroyed websites etc.
Last night however MrsB got a voice mail on her mobile from Merseyside police wanting to speak to her regarding allegations from these two guys. The message said he'd contact her again on Monday. She hasn't been posting anything bad about them but the community seems to be up in arms against these guys and I think they're trying to make out its her doing.
Not much sleep has been had.
I did think that. The message gave a number to call up to 11 o'clock and then he won't be available until Monday when he'll call again. We can only take at face value but I have told MrsB to say to the "officer" how can he prove he his who he claims. MrsB doesn't seem to be worried about the whole thing I however am a natural born worrier.Always a chance it's them on a wind up Mark. As an ex cop, our usual practise was normally to ask citizens to 'phone us to make arrangements for enquiries. Working on the basis that we had someone available 24/7 to take messages and arrange a meet. Sorry your fortunes continue to deteriorate.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll post back the outcome. If he's genuine he should give you the tel no of a Police Office or control room which is publically available. Whoever answers should identify the office and can then switch you through to whatever extension he supplied to you. This question of fake claims to be cops is not at all unusual so we were quite accustomed to concerned members of the public confirming they were speaking to a genuine enquiry officer.

Update. Didn't open and shut fully while off, for whatever reason it's getting stuck half way or just not fully closing for whatever reason. Filled the bastard with wd40, shakey shakey, run a hose through it and then filled with coolant and shakey shakey again. Now it's closing fully as it should. Off the car.Frustrating, isn't it? Next step is pull it off, see if it opens and shuts while not in situ. Euro car parts will be sick of me before long!
Bummer!Went to get my bike out for work this morning and found some scrote had broken in through the back gate and shed to pinch it. No insurance either
Just to wind this up. After a few missed calls the police finally caught up with MrsB today.Might end up War & Peace but it needs some background:
