What is your skincare routine?

If it doesn't have alcohol I don't want it, goes on cold and then feels sort of warm, good stuff!

I used soap. Bar soap. Morning and pre-shave (evening). Aftershaves much be strongly alcoholic.

I think I have pretty good skin, certainly not dry; quite the contrary, hence enjoying highly alcoholic aftershaves and have an absolute phobia of soaps that contain "butters". Urgh!

Through summer, I do something a bit girly and splash on rose water before bed, which dries me out nicely after sticky hot evenings. To man that back up, it's KTC brand 50p from the supermarket ... cooking rose water. Rose water is rose water is rose water. No point paying "artisinal" prices for something that's just rose water.

I use that kind of rose water for cooking a chicken biryani.

I have a real problem area on my Forehead and the sides of the nose. They get very dry, sore and the skin peels once dry. I saw a skin specialist about something else, and he said to me , I notice the dry skin on your face. I can give you some stuff for that which will get rid of it in a day but is hellish expensive, otherwise you can try Canesten for Athletes foot, It will take around 5 days to go, then use a moisturiser . Go back to the Canesten if it comes back. I have been following this now for quite a while. After showering and shaving, I use Trumpers skin food on my face and Goats Milk cream on the problem areas. I top up with the goats cream during the day. I am about to try the Shaving Executive intensive aftershave balm, when it arrives.

Holds 1,000 times more water than hyaluronic acid. A woman friend started using it and in just FIVE days she looked as if she'd just emerged from under the scalpel of a Hollywood plastic surgeon! Unbelievable moisturizer!!
