Yeah, I bought the 6C to try out before deciding to spend twice as much on the 6S. In hindsight I could've gotten the 6S at the start, but would've been out of pocket if it hadn't have suited me.Another vote for the 6C. My go-to razor. Possibly if I were starting again would buy the 6S as the C is made of ZAMAK.

Similar thing here, except my 6S was a replacement for the first duff Kickstarter issue, so I'm not about to say goodbye to it. I generally set it on "4", but I do use the other plates either side of that occasionally, when I decide to depart from my usual blade choices. It's always produced a decent shave, whatever the setting.Had them both for one day each and sold them as quickly as possible. I don't see the point when I put it on setting "2" and it never moves.
What do the different plates do, make it more or less aggressive? How many plates are there and which is the most aggressive? ThanksI'd certainly recommend the 6c. I got mine back in October and it's my go to DE razor. Only been wet shaving for half a year and I'm now trying out SE razors, but the 6c has performed well. Once you find the plate that suits its a breeze to use. Certainly smoother and more efficient than my Merkur 34c and Gillette Fatboy razors, though they're still good to use too!
In short, the 6c is well worth a punt! [emoji1303]

You can read all about it on the Rockwell site. Three plates, 6 settings. They are 2-sided so for example 5 and 6 are on one plate - you just turn the plate over. 1 is mild and so on up to 6 which is the most efficient.
