Thanks
Nice! A Leo Frillot by any chance?
I've seen a fair bit of his work on the book of Face, and I must say, he has some very interesting handles. Some very nice (like the one you've chosen) and some very abstract choices (less to my taste). The fact it contains organic material is an interesting one, it adds a wonderful dimension to the handle.Ahum! Dass da man!
I've just seen a few from a quick search, very nice indeed! The olivewood handle he made for you is a fantastic piece. Simple, yet very effective, showing off the grain nicely.@Gecko does wonderful handles containing organic materials, too. He has made many of my favourite brushes, including one I used this morning. Zebrano with a hand-tied Simpson knot. Superb!
All excellent choices, especially the Grey Flannel sir...timeless!And after reading about Chypre, I was stimulated to try a few of the less expensive ones. So I now have Puig Agua Brava, Geoffrey Beene Grey Flannel, and Coty Stetson aftershaves on the way.
