I'm not right bothered about the dribble of remaining aftershave or the brilliantine, but it will be good to have another puck of the proper soap in. I'm sure it'll revive perfectly with a couple of proto-lathers and a good scrubbing boar.

Expensive cartridges, exactly what we switch to traditional shaving to escape right? Well these last me 1 month per cart so there's a few years worth here.

Interesting they used Avocado back then, I think that packaging must have been a standard from the one supplier which would make sense as there would be less global supply in that Era.

Had to get the Alive balm to match the cracking soap I got from BST.

Plus samples of MdC (all barring rose) from shavedash, still haven't tried any and I'm not quite daft enough to go whole hog on those prices without giving it a try up front!

Hmm it somehow never occurred to me there might be samples of MdC available. A much more viable way of finding out what the hype is about without emptying the piggy bank. Although I have way too much soap already, and a Stiz incoming, and a 12K from the BST in due course, but I'm going to try it at some point. Probably rose as I'm intrigued about how what is often regarded as a feminine scent translates to luxury male grooming. That and the fact that I like the smell of roses generally.
