I'm a bit of an Apollo nut; reading Michael Collins autobiography Carrying the fire



An amazing read; the humanity and character of the man comes out - through that he gives an insightful view of life as an astronaut and NASA's push to put a man on the moon and return him safely to the earth. Some real LOL moments; thus far I am finding the human experience more interesting that the techy stuff.

I hope mankind goes back to the moon soon.

There's only so many Gruffalo or Dr Seuss books you can read before you start to lose your mind!

A lovely story, well written, you almost feel you are in the Scottish Highlands as you read it.
