Thanks @Digimonkey. How are you getting on with ‘Underland'?
Haven't started it yet - in between books - not sure where to go next - my reading time has been a bit curtailed of late - just finished 'Jocks.' Which I enjoyed - 250 word review to follow - but not a book you can pick up and put down - a minimum hour at a time for me - so maybe - a book about catching moles - as a palette cleanser? Ha ha. Yours - I.
The Andrew Graham-Dixon ordered! Thanks Stephen. The small detail from @Barry Giddens SOTD showing Caravaggio's Doubting Thomas recently prompted me to recommend the works below. The Taschen book, with Judith on the cover, has all his works gloriously reproduced, with timelines and biography.
Graham-Dixon's book reads almost like a thriller; full of intrigue.

Unusual to recommend a book before I have finished it - but this is lovely - rustic psycho-geography - how much metaphysical conjuring can you do on the subject of catching moles? Quite a lot apparently. Like snakes - and for the same reason - there are no moles in Ireland - we are told. Equally - it is the life testament of the author - compelling. I'm rationing it. Always the sign of a good book. On the right - my chosen bookmark for this volume. Yours - I.

Mishima is an endlessly fascinating character. I recently read ‘The Sailor Who Fell From Grace With the Sea' and I think I'll have to delve deeper. And these two...on the right, ‘Confessions of a Mask' (apologies for the lamplight).
