They were at their best at that point, in my opinion.Perfect. I have this concert on dvd, got it at the same time as a surround sound system. when I first played it I'm sure my ears were bleeding and i had muffled hearing for a few days. It's still a great concert.
Johnny Cash had a way of taking any song and making it his own. I was introduced to his music whilst working hifi shows and now have a massive respect for the man and his gift. Also have more than a couple of his albums. His rendition of that NIN song will reduce me to tears on one of my off days. Literally hits the (9") nail on the head.Johnny Cash does Nine Inch Nails. This must be one of his best ever performances. It's devastating.
Has the same effect on me Jimmy. They done a version of ruby by the Kaiser chiefs with their own twist .I watched that with a grin from ear to ear, different but very good.
