Huh!

I started writing that is was my favourite, but that's wrong ... coz I don't really like cake, ergo I cannot have a favourite. If questioned as to which cake I would like purchased when Mrs is nosing through those confectionaries, I'll say Red Velvet. Our local farm shop inherited a cafe with on-site bakery and patisserie ... and they now carry a rather nice Red Velvet.

... but I had a slice of rather nice Simnel Cake this evening (as we had our main meal as a late lunch), which puts me in mind for a marzipan croap shave tomorrow. Vitos, I think.
