what about a normal pressure cooker though? not the kind you plug in, just a pot with a gasket you put on the gas hob and cook with more pressure. I've got two I'm a fan of. really nice for making soups. It's a pan. I can cook on gas, the wood burner, open fire ... and do. Put that thing on the wood burner and it wouldn't last long.

also, I really like brussels sprouts. they're very sweet unless you overcook them. then they release sulphur which tastes and smells really unpleasant. I think most people don't like them because they overdo them or have had a bad experience tasting them overcooked.
Looks like a steam pressure BOMB! waiting to go off with a bloody BANG! IF you're not careful to release the pressure valve first.what about a normal pressure cooker though? not the kind you plug in, just a pot with a gasket you put on the gas hob and cook with more pressure. I used to use old school pressure cookers and they are fantastic, but the new new stuff can do other things in the same pot, such as air frying etc.what about a normal pressure cooker though? not the kind you plug in, just a pot with a gasket you put on the gas hob and cook with more pressure. nah, there's always a safety valve. the worst that can happen if you leave it longer than intended is the food getting burnt but that's the same with a normal pot too.Looks like a steam pressure BOMB! waiting to go off with a bloody BANG! IF you're not careful to release the pressure valve first.

Yep, there's a lock that won't let you open the pot if the pressure thing isn't down, everything is idiot proof these days. Even Ozzies can use them and not die.nah, there's always a safety valve. the worst that can happen if you leave it longer than intended is the food getting burnt but that's the same with a normal pot too.
