Went with an Ottolenghi sauce for a Middle-Eastern twist: https://ottolenghi.co.uk/products/kalamata-olive-harissa-sauce ... quite salty!
Lamb or beef? Homemade?

I once read a newspaper article that said Tesco's meatballs outsold their burgers/beef patties for Toby.
I have to admit they got the seasoning and herbs spot on with these. Sometimes you can get fairly plain ones. Haven't tried the Tesco's ones but they're something I'm probably going to try more often. Was really tasty.

Beef. It's what I had in ... yes, home-made. Minced beef, salt, pepper, herbs, garlic powder and some pomegranate syrup. Seemed right for the sauce I'd bought out of interest. Squish all that lot together, roll out into a long sausage and then take off a chunk at a time and roll up dropping into a large saute pan to brown off before the sauce is poured over.

Quite fancy trying some of the sikh kebabs that the butchers/shops sell. Most seem to me lamb and mint. They look nice and are a cheaper way of doing a fake-away
I do kofta kebabs regularly, Paul approves. Butchers or supermarket Lamb on a stick, flatbed or pitta, onions, hot sauce such as harissa and tzatziki.

You're security settings on your computer is too aggressive.

@Mark12 @TobyC can't see meatballs walking down the street.
It does appear as there's nothing in the reply that Toby did. Does mine look like that then? Bizarre. I'm on my phone here so there's no real browser security  :(

I don't see the blank responses very often though - mostly Tobys

I just thought he'd been on the beers! :giggle: ;)
