Chicken soup from over the weekend. Cooked slowly before being pulled apart and mixed with the vegetables. A winter warmer for sure...

Beef Pie with Roast Potatoes and other veg. Proper Beef Pie from the local farm shop, filled with beef, beef gravy and nowt else.
Quarter each so it does two days and loadsa leftovers for quick heat-up tomorrow.

Just showed this to the Mrs and she says that’s gorgeous…

She loves the small potatoes, the cabbage and the beautifully sliced carrots but only scored you 8/10 as she wanted more pepper on the carrots and thought that she might be able to tackle a full half pie!
This is the woman I have to live with!

She loves the small potatoes, the cabbage and the beautifully sliced carrots but only scored you 8/10 as she wanted more pepper on the carrots and thought that she might be able to tackle a full half pie!

The picture has foreshortened the size of that quarter. It's a geniune 10" pie and a good inch deep once cooked and cut. Yeah! I could do a half but I'd want a few less vegetables. Potatoes were roasted in goose fat, of course.

Not to be confused with the now closed Keelham Farm Shop in Skipton who nicked the name when the two brothers went seperate ways and now the one actually in Keelham has re-opened the Skipton one as Robertshaw's. Confused? Yeah ... anyway, the one just on from Queensbury.
