What are you drinking tonight.

Made in Scotland. From girders.

Not sure why, but I do quite like Irn Bru, and I have only the flimsiest of links to Scotland.

The Beavertown looks really interesting. I am quite partial to Elvis Juice (Brewdog's grapefruit effort).

Highland Park 12 Viking Honour. Cannot decide whether I like this one. Maybe I need to try more.
I've always enjoyed Highland Park as an exceptional single malt, of various ages, but the Viking rebranding leaves me cold, especially coupled with the removal of age statements. I've tried a few and TBH they range from OK to pretty good, but style over substance seems to be the chosen path now for many distilleries.

Yesterday was just a couple of bottles of Aspall Premier Cru. It's one of the few ciders I like, "dry" by commercial standards without tasting like you've had your mouth filled with cotton wool like "real" craft dry cider can. At 6.8rpm you only need a couple to let the life-crushing shitness of work fade slightly.
