What are you drinking tonight.

Been Out with my son for his 21st Birthday (yeah, I know ... I don't look old enough).

Was also out with my brother, our Dad, my brother-in-law, my nephew and half a dozen of my son's mates.

All I can say is 'drinking' has changed a LOT since I was last out and smashing the granny out of it.

Was fully expecting a dozen or so pints, getting 'knuckle deep' with some strumpet, a kebab, a huge fight and one of us getting banged up.

Young 'uns today . . . they just don't know the half of it.

Next Sunday it's me, my son, my daughter, their partners, my Grandad (who used to 'bounce' for some twins in London in the 60s), my Dad, his wife, my Mum, her husband, my brother, his partner and whoever else fancies it getting mullered down the local boozer. If we don't put £500 through the till there will be some serious questions asked.
It's all this GenZ nonsense. Blokes going out behaving properly and sipping cocktails with fancy names. My grandson favours an Old Fashioned.

Your idea of a night out is much more to my liking. I can recall many a night like that down Forest Gate area.

Send my best wishes to your Grandad. Proper Geezer.

I signed up to an online site selling alcoholic beverages.

Sent off for some very decent products.
Wild Turkey 101, Rebellion Rum, punt e Mes vermouth, Licor 43, to name but a few.

All sorted for a nice Xmas.

Never heard this rum, hope this taste better than Sailor Jerry Spice Rum, cause that's the only Rum I've got in my den.
It is much better than Sailor Jerry. The place that I get my booze from keeps selling out!!

This is the review....

Rebellion Spiced Rum

A beautiful Trinidadian rum from a distillery founded in 1824. The producers recommend Rebellion Spiced be served long with cola and ice (and a squeeze of fresh lime juice).

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Vanilla, crème caramel, nutmeg and cinnamon, a little clove note, coffee beans and oak.

Palate

Apricot nectar and vanilla, a little honey, cinnamon and toasty oak.

Finish

Nutmeg and honey.

Goes well in a Dark n Stormy or a Caribbean Mule.
