I haven't had that much ginger ale to be honest.
Just for you I will track down one of these in the local Sainsburys and report back
G'day TP,Few drams of Laphroaig, followed with a snifter of Johnny Walker black label.
Oh ... any good? Being a big Guinness fan, my ears perked up when I saw the advert ... but thoughts of that green can (Bitter, was it?) reminded me that Guinness make Guinness and should stick to making Guinness.
Any good?
G'day TP,
We may be neighbors on Islay my plot no is 346232, JWB being a blended brew is not on my drinking list but I am saving up to buy another plot of land for my birthday ;-)
Have you sampled the other Islay Single Malt, Bowmore another nice wee dram.
G'day TP ,I've tried most of the Islay malts, Gerry. My favourite is probably Lagavulin.
However, if you like a peated malt I can thoroughly recommend Benriach Curiositas. It's a peated Speyside whisky but is utterly superb (as are all the other Benriach whiskys I've tried).
105 is a sublime whisky, very strong as you say. If you like them a bit more mellow, I highly recommend the Glenfarclas 15yr old if you've not tried it. I'm savouring my bottle, it's very good stuff.Aberlour 12 and Glenfarclas 105.
Almost finished both. Don't think I'd buy the Aberlour again. I've tried both the 10 and the 12 and they aren't to my taste.
The Glenfarclas is cask strength so it doesn't half hoof you in the knackers. However, in common with the other Glenfarclas whiskys I've tried, it's superb. Not sure if I'd buy this instead of their 'normal' ones but I might!
