Wardonia razors

Dear learned brethren

I quite fancied picking up a Wardonia, but have read they don't accept regular blades - is this correct? If I got one I'd be intending to use it, not just look at it.

It depends which one. I have a brass Wardonia which accepts modern DE blades.

Thanks, would that be an older model? Do I need to avoid the barrel hole design?

Yes, I believe so. I'm not an expert by any means, but I know Wardonia diversified into making their own blades to fit their razors.

I have an old one Ill send you, I think it has 3 or 4 blades, a box, and one blade bank. PM if interested.
