So my daily shave is with a Rockwell 6S on plate 3 and I'm thinking of broadening my horizons into the world of SE's.
I don't want anything more aggressive than plate 3 on the 6S, more efficient is fine of course!
Was thinking maybe the Blackland Vector when they're back in stock. Has anyone tried both razors and can comment on aggressiveness between the 2?
Any other suggestions?
Might have to change my username if I go ahead!
Thanks, DE (possibly SE) Convert
I have read that some find it on the aggressive side
Thanks for the replies guys.
@Sabre I'm not really sure about the different types of blades. Are there any new razors that take the injector blades?
I'm not keen on the second hand market. The thought of using second hand razors creeps me out. Completely irrational I know but that's just me.
@GordyC and @Satanfriendly I wasn't sure about the Hawk. I have read that some find it on the aggressive side, but I suppose for £30 it might be worth a punt. Do you guys still use your Hawks despite now owning higher end SE's?
Great thanks, might go for it.Yeah, I still use my Hawk. It is light being aluminium, however pair it with the right blade and/or add extra weight with a different handle and it can be really assertive, in a great way.
I'd certainly recommend it.
I'm currently using Schick Prolines and Feather Professionals.Great thanks, might go for it.
Any recommendations on blades for the Hawk?
Do the wider blades effect getting into the hard to shave areas, for those of us with "defined" features?
