Yes - and it's excellent. A real old-world fragrance; vaguely lavender. I used to love this stuff! I would buy it at about £5 from Shervingtons the tobacconists in Chancery Lane; now closed.

Strangely enough, I can't find the soap as a stand-alone item on the Vulfix site. Only offered in wooden bowls.

I could be wrong but i think Vulfix soaps are available in John Lewis's,two sizes,small and large.

There's some on Ebay at the moment under the shaving soap section... £3.48 I think for a large tablet +postage of £2 something..

Used one today. 55g small cake. Lathers easily, very nice slickness. The scent is absent: smells like laundry soap. Good post-feel.

What was or is the difference between the Vulfix, Cyril Salter, and Culmak soaps?
Were one of the three T's similar?

It was a good shaving soap, from memory it was very similar to the older formula Salter's and TOBS Classic, the new Salter's is different formula now, however I think the TOBS is still available.
