absolutely love Dave's composition. very much like something I had pictured in my mind, but don't have the skills or equipment to produce.
can't really say what shades it for Harry. Maybe it is just that - the shades.

Actually that's not a shade in Harry's photo - the wood on the scales is really that different.

I really meant the overall shade of the picture. Probably poor wording on my part. The colouration of the wood certainly adds to the shot though.
