Vintage Razor — Servicing & Repair

Just wanted to give a shout out to JJShaves https://www.jjshaves.com/

I sent my Flare Tip Rocket, which had a sticky silo door, for repair to JJShaves. Razor was repaired, gaps adjusted to factory spec, and the razor was cleaned, polished and lubricated. The TTO mechanism now has that wonderful, quality damped action, that English Flare Tip Rockets should have, and the silo doors open and close beautifully. I have previously used repair services in the States, also good. JJShaves is here in the UK and provides a service second to none at a great price. If you think how often a 70 year old or so razor, must have been knocked or worse dropped, a service is well worth the investment. I have no connection to JJShaves other than as a paying customer who received great service.
