-Vintage-Gillette-Shave-

The Fat Handled Tech again. I think tonight I found the shave on par with the flat bottomed which was nice. Being away and only having two vintage Techs has given me an opportunity to have a good close look at them. I think I'd like to have a good run out with the ball end next which I have a real bee in my bonnet about for some bizarre reason.

Fine fat handle.:cool:The ball end handle may throw you off a bit due to balance..the fat handle and flat bottom techs have lighter handles and are head heavy..they almost find their own working angle ..:)

After a week of alternating shaves between the flat bottom and the fat handle Techs, I've found that for me at my current skill level that there isn't much in them. The biggest surprise for me was that the flat bottom wasn't a much stronger contender but I think now I'll look at the ball end when I get back to see how he does.

It's been a great week of Tech shaves and I'd been nervous about only bringing vintage razors away with me this time. Wouldn't hesitate next time. In fact, they'd probably be the starting point (y)
