This is a really brief video about how to use an alum shaving block stone or stick after the shave.You can leave it and apply the after shave lotion or balm or later wash it with cold water and apply the after shave lotion or balm.

Connaught Shaving sell them, they're in the "Aftershave" section. The one I use is the allume di rocca stick 120g, it's bigger than Jose's (Fnarr fnarr!) but I use it as an underarm deo as well so it replaces 2 products in your bag.

It's only about the same size as a roll on anyway. [/u]
