Valuation question

Hi All,

I'm having a clear out duplicates in my stash shortly to make room for some bits.

I have a particular razor which I've not seen for sale for a long time. . . .

It's a mint condition (unboxed) British TV Edition Flare Tip Rocket.

It's really a thing of beauty.

I've seen only one example of one going for $65 - but this had plateloss.

Thanks

J

35 sounds about right, maybe 40 at a push. (if it's mint)
$65 for one with plate loss, someone paid over the odds in my opinion.
Prices in the US for british made Gillettes are higher than the UK.
(supply & demand)

Plating on a TV rocket is rare, since it's rhodium.
BST prices are generally lower than eBay, but that's the way it is.
(it's also a lot less hassle, and no fees)

You can try your luck on BST, or eBay.

Cheers,

I think I might ebay the rocket as it picks up more Yanks than here (and they go nuts for UK razors for some reason).

I've got a load of slims & fatboy's I'll offer in here for a good price once I've got round to taking images.
