Using 7 year old aftershave (Old spice)

I have a nice big bottle of old spice in a glass bottle manufactured in germany that I bought new around 2015 and it still has alot left in it. On the back it says to use within 36 months which has long gone. Would it still be safe to use on the face after a shave? The smell is fine but has faded only slightly

It's perfectly safe to use. What i do advise is keeping it in a cool dark place away from direct sunlight. Hope this helps.

Use it and enjoy it, as @Palmolive fox has already said keep away from heat and light.
I have a bottle from the 70s and it's perfectly ok.

I have a bottle of Aramis from 2010 (before it was re-formulated) and it hasn't stank my house out, so it must be okay. It smelt fine the last time that I opened the bottle, anyway.

Seriously, OP, I wouldn't worry about it. If it still smells okay, then it should be fine to use it. Some aftershaves and EDTs "go off" much quicker than others.
