Yes I have this cream and the other version(in black and white tube with round MEM logo) they are both very good, however they are not widely available.I found MEM shaving cream excellent when I was using it...does not seem to get much love on the forums though...

Some products get plenty of press, both the official kind and mentions on learned forums such as this, some regularly fill out top ten lists, but there are plenty of great performers out there that get overlooked.
So what's a top-notch cream that, in your opinion, flies under the radar?
I'd have said things like LEA, Crabtree & Evelyn, Edwin Jagger, Gentlemen's Tonic and even Maca Root all do a great job but rarely get a mention (or not as much as they deserve).
I find the Coconut oil to be close in terms of post-shave feel to MWF.For me, and on reflection I'm quite surprised, the Trumpers shave creams rarely get a mention - the Rose and the Limes are both superb (YMMV) - protective lather, glide, scent and value for money.
I'm on my second tube of Macca Root, yet I still forget it's there.By pure coincidence I'd decided to use my tub of body shop macca root this week.
Easy to forget how good this product is.
I like the smell, light & inoffensive.
Yardley Gold isn't available from the Yardley UK site and you have to get it shipped in from India, what's that all about from a company that's "proudly British"?
MEM shave creams are from Israel. It is very normal that you may not heard of it because they are not marketed outside of Israel. One of the forum member was selling it on this forum and that is how I came across. They make two versions and they are quite different from each other and they perform really good. Sometimes on e-bay you may come across if not they are not available anywhere else, if you know someone living or travelling to Israel may be able to get some.Never mind underappreciated, there's some products in this thread I've never heard of before!
MEM?

Some very good suggestions. I've tried the likes of XPEC, AdP and i Coloniali (the last two call themselves creams but...) and didn't find them to perform better (or at least not to the level you'd expect) over many 'run of the mill' products that don't have anywhere near the fanbase.
