Absolutely - I'm still going to post on matters meteorological. It's just that the climate engineering stuff is something I've not paid much attention to, and I'm concerned that it's rather contentious and possibly infringes the 'no politics' policy of TSR.Just give me a heads up if you see serious winds heading for West Scotland and I'll appreciate it m8. Being near the coast we're vulnerable to gales and localised flooding on occasion.

If that's aimed at me, there's nothing tinfoil hat regarding the jet stream.
Have you seen this @chrisbell?
Animated Earth Wind Map
If you click on 'Earth' there are a number of parameters you can change

Does that ever happen?Just had a wee look Count. The one parameter missing is the setting for ' Tropical ' over West Dunbartonshire. Apart from that ommision it's fascinating.

It isn't. It's just that any idle talk about climate has to "tap dance" around the political bomb that is so called "climate change".
...If you feel uncomfortable regarding this thread, then that's fine - there's no need to follow it. I'm not going to venture into the question of climate change; if the thread ever does devolve into a politically-motivated insult forum on that subject, not only would I back out, but I'd be contacting moderators to shut it down.
Thanks. I'm really not that learned - just expounding on what I've found over the past few years on a weather forum. Not in the least uncomfortable as you appear a learned man. I've enjoyed your posts herein.
