UK meteorology

In case anyone is still following this thread (if there aren't any responses by this time next week, I'll close it), be aware that there is the potential for excessively hot and humid conditions in southern parts of the UK next week, which have prompted the Met Office to release a Heat Health watch. Unfortunately, it's the humidity that causes difficulties as it reduces the body's ability to cool itself with sweat, potentially leading to dehydration and heat exhaustion, or, in extreme cases, full-on heatstroke:
