Two days to go, I hope you all have your rain gear and trail mix packed in your bags 
I have been thinking about the parameters and reckon it's worth changing it to an even 1000km and changing the finish date to the end of December, that's an even 6 months which works out at just over 5km a day. I will update the initial post to reflect.
I was also thinking about using google maps to plot the route, maybe everyone adds a marker each week to visualise where we would be if we were actually doing the trip in real life. I don't know if it's possible but we can look into it.
I'm planning on adding some pictures during my walks/runs so I hope you can too. It will be nice to see what everyone's scenery is like.
I will make a new sticky thread for the distance logging.

If you join it I can invite you to the challenge I set up. It's possible to set all your activity to private so your map and location are not seen publically, it should only record your distance.
