Well it's been quite a few years since I done any so I bought myself a few bits and bobs to do some basic tech drawings. The haul includes a nice set of rotring pens from Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/Rotring-Isograph-College-Mechanical-S0699380/dp/B000SHPZQY/ref=sr_1_2?s=officeproduct&ie=UTF8&qid=1360766305&sr=1-2
Should be here on the morro.
I've put that on my wish list!
Don't do tech drawing but I've used Rotring pens for illustrations (pen and ink drawings) in the past. The pesky things dry up if you don't look after them properly, but there's nothing like them for a nice crisp line
I picked up this little beauty http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Art-Mechanical-Drawing-Practical/dp/1588167593/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1360839669&sr=8-1
Originally published by Popular Mechanics in 1912, it goes through some basics and onto more detailed 3d objects and lettering. It's basically a short course in drafting. Very tactile little book which I think is a bargain price. Pens should be arriving soon.
Hello all.
I peeked in here as I am after a free sw to draw labels (I like to re-pack some soaps), but you are into serious stuff, so... no chance here!
